The 90th Academy Awards were held on Sunday and here were some of the night’s top moments:

The Shape of Water took home four Oscars, including Best Picture, Best Director for Guillermo del Toro, Best Original Score and Best Production Design. Frances McDormand, Gary Oldman, Allison Janney and Sam Rockwell won in the acting categories (Best Actress, Actor, Supporting Actress and Supporting Actor, respectively). James Ivory became the oldest Oscar winner at age 89 for his Best Adapted Screenplay of Call Me by Your Name, and Jordan Peele became the first African American to win Best Original Screenplay for Get Out. Also making history was Roger Deakins, legendary cinematographer who won his first Oscar after 14 nominations for his work on Blade Runner 2049. Some highlights of the night included host Jimmy Kimmel’s jet ski competition for shortest speech, Frances McDormand inviting all female nominees in all categories to stand with her, Kobe Bryant winning for his Best Animated Short Dear Basketball, the creators of Coco declaring that representation matters upon winning Best Animated Feature, Daniela Vega becoming the first transgender presenter, and making sure Warren Beatty and Faye Dunaway didn't repeat envelopegate.
