Women’s March: Part Two
This Saturday marked the anniversary of the day President Trump was inaugurated, and this Sunday marked the anniversary of the Women’s March in Washington, in which hundreds of thousands of women marched on the streets of DC to signify their opposition to the newly elected president. The official anniversary rally was held in Sam Boyd Stadium near Las Vegas, where many women and men came together to emphasize the need for gender equality and urge their supporters to get out and vote in this year’s midterm elections. This event brought to an end a weekend of Women’s Marches in many cities throughout the United States, including New York, Denver, Philadelphia, and Chicago.
