Touchdown for Amazon

Amazon won the rights to stream Thursday Night Football games for the upcoming 2017-2018 season on Tuesday. Amazon Prime users will now be able to stream the games and never miss a touchdown. This deal is worth $50 million, substantially more than the $10 million that Twitter paid last season for the streaming rights. Twitter was not financially-stable enough to compete with the big offers this season from Amazon and Facebook. This is the second year of a two-year deal to simulcast the NFL Network’s broadcast.
