Romo Signs With... CBS?!
After months of speculation as to what Tony Romo’s future in football would look like, it appears that things have taken an unexpected turn. On Tuesday, the Cowboys released the franchise quarterback, a move that will clear $14 million in cap space. Following his release, Romo announced his intent to retire from the game by posting a picture of himself on twitter wearing a jacket with a CBS logo patch. According to multiple reports, Romo will replace Phil Simms and be paired with Jim Nantz as CBS's top game analyst. Cowboys fans will certainly miss Romo after all that he has given to the franchise, even if he put Dallas fans into a panic often with his many notable late game finishes.
