Explosion on a Russian Train
A train traveling through St. Petersburg, Russia was the scene of a large explosion Monday. The explosion blew a hole in the side of the train and killed 11 people while sending others into a panic. A second, undetonated bomb, was found and disarmed at the Ploshchad Vosstaniya metro station. The St. Petersburg subway system was shut down and security was boosted as officials started to look for evidence in the case they were treating as a terrorist attack. So far, no suspects have been detained, but a screen grab from security video footage has been circulating the internet with a man who is a possible suspect. Russian President Vladimir Putin happened to be in the city which is over 400 miles away from the capital.
