The Horned Frogs men’s basketball storybook season came to a fitting end last night in Madison Square Garden in New York City. The Frogs (24-15) thrashed the Yellow Jackets of Georgia Tech (21-16) by a final score of 88-56 to claim the NIT Championship. Junior guard, Kenrich Williams, capped off his impressive tournament by leading the Frogs with 25 points and 12 rebounds. His stellar performance also won him the NIT’s Most Valuable Player award. It is safe to say that Jamie Dixon’s first season as head coach at his alma mater was a huge success!
