Throughout its presidential campaign, the Trump Administration has displayed out-right support for pro-Israel agreements but now is working to involve more Arab nations. President Trump is working to draft strategies for peace and cooperation in the Israel-Palestine territories by using the “outside-in” approach. The approach plans to have Israel, the U.S., and Arab nations attempt cooperation so that peace will eventually come to Israel-Palestine. President Trump and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu have discussed aligning with Sunni Muslim countries, Egypt and Saudi Arabia, to band together under the name of countering the rise of Shiite Iran. Trump has postponed the moving of the US Embassy to Jerusalem as well as urged Israel to pause building new West Bank settlements after being warned of possible retaliation by Palestinian protesters.
