Gymnastics Docter Gets 22 Counts of Sexual Assault
Larry Nassar, a former USA Gymnastics physician and team doctor for Michigan State University’s gymnastics, has been charged with 22 counts of first-degree criminal sexual conduct. The charges were made after allegations came to light that Nassar sexually abused young female athletes under the pretense of medical care in different locations, including his home and MSU sports facilities. This brings the total charges up to 28 counts, including 3 past counts of sexual assault and 3 federal child pornography charges.
