Are we not alone?
NASA's Spitzer Space Telescope revealed a system of 7 planets that orbit around a star on Wednesday. 3 of the 7 planets are located around the star where a planet is most likely to have water. This system of planets is a record-breaking discovery for science. “Answering the question ‘are we alone’ is a top science priority and finding so many planets like these for the first time in the habitable zone is a remarkable step forward toward that goal,” said Thomas Zurbuchen, associate administrator of the agency’s Science Mission Directorate in Washington. E.T., where are you?
