No Need to RSVP
Milo Yiannopoulos, an editor at Breitbart News, has been uninvited from the Conservative Political Action Conference due to controversial material in videos that have surfaced. The videos contain Yiannopoulos cracking a joke about a sexual encounter with a Catholic priest as a child and speaking sympathetically toward pedophiles. CPAC is sponsored by the American Conservative Union and is a place for controversies and disagreements, but ACU President Matt Schlapp said that there is a consensus that sexual abuse is evil. This rescinded invitation was not made known to Yiannopoulos until he was questioned about it by the press. He’s probably not laughing now.
