Actor Ashton Kutcher made an appearance on Capitol Hill yesterday on behalf of an international anti-human-trafficking organization he co-founded. The organization, Thorn, works to address the sexual exploitation of children around the world with a focus on the role Internet technology plays in facilitating these crimes. While speaking to the Senate Foreign Relations Committee in order to request federal money for his organization, Kutcher explained how passionately he felt about the subject and discussed how important of a role technology can play in capturing sex-traffickers on the internet.
