"Justice Pour Theo" Protests Turn Violent

Riots broke out in Paris Sunday evening over an incident of police brutality. Four Paris police officers are under investigation over the arrest of a man named Theo on February 2nd. One of the officers is under investigation for rape and the others for unnecessary violence. Demonstrations have been ongoing since the case began, but the announcement that the police investigating the case believe the rape was unintentional set off the riots Sunday night. Rioters set fire to vehicles and damaged businesses in Bobigny, a suburb of Paris home to a large immigrant community.
