Earthquake Strikes In Iraq
At least 61 people are dead after an earthquake struck the city of Halabjah in Iraq Sunday. The 7.3 magnitude earthquake was centered almost 220 miles from Baghdad and injured almost 300 people. A warning was issued on the Iraqi State TV for citizens. Reports in Pakistan, Lebanon, Kuwait and Turkey state that shocks were felt there as well. Iraq sits on many major fault lines and is prone to many tremors.
