Brock Turner, the college student that sparked a massive controversy in the United States after a court case involving the rape of a visitor to his university, has been released from prison after three months. The nation has been divided over this decision; some declare he should have stayed longer, while others argue that he deserves to return to his studies. While he has been released, he was required to register as a level-3 sex offender in the state of Ohio, where he currently resides. Level 3 is the highest level, and requires Turner to re-register with the Greene County Sheriff’s office every ninety days.
