Nobel Peace Winner Dead at 93
Shimon Peres, known for building Israel into the power it is today, as well as winning the 1994 Nobel Peace Prize, has passed away due to complications associated with a stroke. The country mourns him greatly, as he had been leading them for over sixty years, whether in the military or in a political office. Not only did Mr. Peres hold the office of five different ministers and president throughout his life time, he also managed to author multiple books, including a memoir detailing his struggles to bring peace to Israel and Palestine.
