Leggo the Eggos
A voluntary recall has been announced in 25 states as it is made known that around 10,000 Eggo Nutri-Grain Whole Wheat Waffles could contain Listeria. Listeria causes listeriosis, which is better known as a form of food poisoning, and can cause symptoms of fever, headaches, and abdominal pain. So far, no cases of listeriosis have been reported to Kellogg Co., the makers of Eggo Waffles; they learned of the waffles being contaminated through routine lab tests. For those buttermilk, chocolate chip, or blueberry fans out there, no need to worry, the only waffles affected by the bacteria are the Nutri-Grain Whole Wheat Waffles.
