Shooting at Alpine High School in Texas
On Thursday, a 14 year-old freshman shot a female student before shooting and killing herself at Alpine High School in west Texas. Police arrived at the scene at about 9am after students were seen running out of the school; they found the shooter dead in the bathroom upon arrival. The victim was taken to the hospital but reports state that her injuries weren’t life threatening. No others were injured. The shooting happened just two weeks after school had begun. The shooter moved to the small town of Alpine sixth months ago and was described as a good student. A motive hasn’t been discovered yet.
