Let Women Drive!
Currently, Saudi Arabia is the only country in the world that doesn’t allow women to drive. So when Prince Alwaleed, grandson of the Saudi Arabian King, made the claim that the ban on women drivers is “unjust” and an “infringement on a women’s right," the country was surprised. Saudi Arabia is an absolute monarchy, which means that the King has ultimate power over the country. Therefore, Prince Alwaleed does not have much influence over the government in Saudi Arabia, but his influence through his experience in business and money will aid him in his attempt to allow women to get behind the wheel. Since the prince has considerable experience in business, his argument that releasing the ban to let women drive will improve the economy by enabling women to join the work force should be regarded as credible.
