Twitter Might Sell Vine Instead of Killing It
Do not kiss vine goodbye just yet, my fellow millennials. The service for sharing six-second-long looping video clips, Vine, which is owned by Twitter, might be acquired by another tech company. Twitter has received offers for less than $10 million for Vine, which was founded in June 2012. Twitter, for the past few quarters, has done sub-par in the stock market, probably prompting the company to want to dump the less than popular app, Vine. The main reason Vine is not going to the chopping block just yet is outrage from a very loyal base of users.
