Trump Rushed Off Stage After Gun Ruse
Donald Trump was rushed off stage at his rally in Reno, Nevada on Saturday after a commotion in the crowded audience. Austyn Crites, who later identified himself to reporters, was holding a “Republicans Against Trump” sign when an unidentified person shouted “gun.” Crites was immediately led out by a swarm of officials. No charges were filed. Crites told reporters that he was assaulted by a group of people before the incident even occurred. "I was a Republican supporter through the primaries,” Crites said, before adding that he has recently switched allegiances. Trump remained unharmed and returned to the stage while the Secret Service made clear no weapon was found. Trump later thanked the Secret Service for the fast response and the thousands present for their support.
