A fellow Horned Frog is headed back home to Texas!  Former TCU right-handed pitcher Andrew Cashner has reportedly agreed to a one-year, $10 million deal with the Texas Rangers.  A thin starting pitching rotation has been highlighted as a point of emphasis for improvement going into the off-season by the Ranger’s front office.  Although Cashner has had mixed success and failures during his time in the big leagues, he certainly was a very dominant and accomplished pitcher in a TCU uniform as an All-American closer which led to him becoming the Chicago Cubs’ first-round pick in 2008.
