No, Colin Kaepernick Did Not Vote
Colin Kaepernick, San Francisco 49ers’ quarterback, didn’t vote in this year’s presidential election because he still feels that he and others will continue to suffer from racial injustice. Kaepernick told reporters that no matter who is president, in this case Donald J. Trump, he will be "the face of that system of oppression." Kaepernick is known in the NFL for not standing during the playing of the National Anthem due to the racial injustices. He will continue to refuse to stand until progress has made. “Well, America’s never been great for people of color,” Kaepernick said. “And that’s something that needs to be addressed. Let’s make America great for the first time.”
