Terror in Brussels
Two Brussels police officers were stabbed in what authorities are calling a terror attack Tuesday. The suspect was shot in the leg and later subdued by a third officer. None of the injuries sustained in the attack are considered life-threatening. A major railway station in the city was also shut down due to a bomb threat that was determined to be unsubstantiated after police searched the station for about an hour. Brussels has emerged as a hotbed for terrorist activity in Europe over the past year with attacks believed to be planned and carried out in the city. The terror alert level in the city remains a level three, one level below the maximum.
