UPDATE: 6900 Refugees Evicted From Calais Camp
As evictions have begun at the Calais “Jungle” camp, a group of 1,300 unaccompanied minors wait in limbo to see if they will be registered to live in Europe before the camp completely shuts down. Issues with organization at the camp’s registration sight have been the cause of fights breaking out between people in registration lines. National police continue to be on high alert while trying to manage the situation and keep the refugees as calm as possible in a situation of intense confusion. The Refugee Youth Service is stepping in to provide as much information to the young people as they are able to collect.
