Nurse Gone Wild
Between 2007 and 2014, Elizabeth Tracey Mae Wettlaufer, a registered nurse in Woodstock and London, Ontario, Canada, murdered eight long-term care residents. At least seven of these deaths were due to Wettlaufer administering a fatal dose of a drug to the patient. Woodstock Police Service was unable to release information about Wettlaufer’s motive nor how they learned of the murders claiming that the information will be used as evidence and cannot be made public. She was charged with eight counts of first-degree murder during a court date yesterday, Tuesday, October 25, 2016.
