Which Drought Will End?
Three weeks ago, the Major League Baseball playoffs began with ten teams. Today, just the two teams with the longest World Series droughts remain. The National League champion Chicago Cubs, who have not won a World Series in 108 years, and the American League champion Cleveland Indians, who are 68 years removed from their last Fall Classic victory, will square off tonight in Cleveland, Ohio for game one of a best of seven series. The series starts in Cleveland for the first two games followed by three in Chicago before returning to Cleveland for the final two games (Games 5, 6, and 7 will only be played if necessary). All games will be televised on Fox and will begin at 7:00 PM (CT).
