174 inmates have escaped from a prison in Haiti, about 30 miles north of capitol Port-au-Prince. It is still a mystery how exactly the prisoners broke out, but it is said that a riot was led by “heavily armed individuals.” One guard was killed during the escape. About a dozen prisoners have been captured, but a manhunt has ensued for the remaining fugitives.
